This short story kept me turning pages. It is about a librarian on a trip who gives an impromptu lecture about his hobby, but neglects to realize who is eavesdropping. I found the story to be well written and compelling, but I do feel it could have had a better ending. That, of course, may just be a personal preference, but I couldn't deny I was a bit disappointed. Other readers may find the ending to be just great which is probably why there are so many stories and so many different authors. No two people write in exactly the same way; I must admit that the literary world would be boring and stagnant without those differences! Despite my opinion of the ending, I would certainly recommend this page turner to any horror fan.Product details

A London Night Shift From "Short Cuts" a short story collection eBook Erik Boman Reviews
I'm not keen on vampires and assorted "creatures of the night" se the literary market becsme glutted by romanticezed bloodsuckers who sparkle. I thought this short story might provide a refreshing twist snd it did by stsying true the old school tradition of the vampire bring an undead creature out for blood. The author did a solid job of leading up to his character's fateful encounter snd I didn't see it coming. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.
A London Night Shift (A Short Story)
This was an interesting twist on vampire stories. A librarian learns a lot more about his favorite subjects then he ever wanted to know.
I reccommend it.
